They're both 1st generations if thats what you're talking about.

I like the ls6 because that's what I have

. Never really found facts to pick one over the other.

Steering wheel radio controls really turn me off. I see them as gimmicks and nothing more. I'll leave them to my Escalade. My V doesn't need them.

Correct me if Im wrong... I dont know everything but I was under the impression that the 1g-V was with the ls6, the 2g-v was when they changed the motor to the ls2, and the 3g is when they changed to the ls9?

the new body (2009) has a LSA motor. which is a non forged LS9. and i think the supercharger is smaller

it would make sense the 09' is 3G...3g is supposed to be the fastest...at least according to my cell phone company

kind of agree, your hand is a whole 3in away from the volume ****.....wish I had them in my old blazer though....gotta actually bend your back to change the volume.
