I would just spend the money and get the K&N for 300 and call it done. You might be able to do it cheaper but is it really worth it?

I'll try to post pics later. I took mine off to still be in "FStock" while autox'ing last weekend. I think I'm gonna weld a 1/16npt bung in the bottom of mine

Glad to see more people SOLOing their Vees. Will you be attending the National Tour in Blytheville in May?

Anyone know what needs to be done to accommodate that extra vacuum hose on the LS2 Vs for the DIY intake? Not sure what the hose does to be exact other than to plug into the stock intake tube just before the TB on the elbow.

Can it be left unplugged?

P.S. Hi and all the pleasantries, new to this forum

I dont really know. I am AutoXing just for entertainment but I am dragracing the little truck in my avatar (Drag Radial Isuzu Hombre- like an s10) pretty competitively this year. I'm going to try to do most of the regional AutoX events. It looks like the Natl tour is the last weekend in may. I may possibly come up there for it but dont know if I'm going to run. We'll just have to see when the end of May gets here if my talent level progresses substatially LOL
