I don't know why anybody would want to....especially when you have a 8 second car.

don't forget the rear shock mod or you'll be less than thrilled with the results...

I was thinking about doing this too, as my Camaro has cut rear springs and works great. Who's going to do it first on their V?

1-2-3 NOT IT!

I was thinking about re-drilling the hole in shock (the lower mount) so that the shock would sit lower and trick the self-leveling effect. This way I could leave the upper bushings alone, and maybe even do it without removing the shocks from the car. I don't have time to mess with it right now, but it may be something you can look at David.

naw i bitched out, my spring copressor fell through and the rear spring removal was more 'involved' than i care to do multiple times. ill just save up for the gc kit.

it was neat to see the rear end drop 3/4" without touching the stock rear spring by moving the spacer from under the car to on top of the rear shock.

So you can do that and drop the car 3/4" in the rear with no extra parts?

The maggie dropped my front end about 1/2" and I could use a matching drop in the rear.

Sounds like you can lower the whole car without buying anything

http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...test-pics.html

and here ya go
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...whl-style.html

The front is just lowering the perch clip on the strut
, lowered .75". Nothing else to the front. On the rear cut part of a coil off, I did 5/8 of a coil and then use the wildwhl spacers to fool the shock.. It seems great so far and I really do like the way it turned out..

So you just simply remove this "do not reuse" piece for the fronts. Then get a spacer for the top of the rears and use either cut springs or lowering springs?
