did anybody cut springs yet or not?

the shock will go as low as the spring will let it when the car sits still for several hours. when moving (suspension moving during normal driving) the shock will 'pump up' and try to put the ride height back to stock. 'stock' meaning back to holding as much a % of the car's weight as it was originally designed for.
i am currently designing an adjustable drop section acessable from inside the car replacing the entire upper shock mount. that will get back to holding a constant ride height instead of this up and down business mine is doing now
if there is a thread relevant on caddyforums send me the link ill see whats up.

to round out this thread, my final spring cutting was 1 1/3 coil front and 1 1/2 coil rear, 3/8 of rear bumpstop cut and 1/4 front bumpstop cut and relocated the rear shock mount about 2" above stock
no tire rub at all, somewhat stiffer ride than stock, not sure how it compares to aftermarket springs
