Default Prototype hood

I have contacted extreme composits in reguards to having a cts hood fabricated to replicate the one seen on the 2011 concept coupe. They said they needed a minimum of 15 people to make a $100 dollar non-refundable deposite and they would get started on the custom hood. I am posting this reply to recruit interested individuals. I have attached photos of the hood that I am refering to.

2k for that hood is a lot of money. That little cowl can only be 1/2 inch tops.

Not sure how I feel about a roof cow over a hood cow. Seems less, functional

Your question is not worded in such a way that permits a good answer. The EC hood has two layers, and there is a sizable air gap between them.
You also need to account for the installation of a heat shield and vibration dampener, which will consume some of the space below the hood. Otherwise the heat from the engine will melt the paint on the top of the hood.

When you say "how big," are you referring to the maximum height of the protrusion over the whole length of the hood versus the original hood?

Or are you asking for the amount of additional space that it provides above the front of the intake manifold?

You're definition of cheap is different my definition, but if you wanna use my definition, then, yes, sure, I'll sell it.
