What would you prefer Comp Cams?

The cam maker doesn't really matter, the cams you selected are made for high reving lighter cars. With a cam you push the hp upper in the higher rpm range and that causes you to lose a little tq as well.

Call a vendor and tell them what you have and they can spec a cam for you.

thanks, I am still trying to figure out if a KB will work with our cars, especially if they make LS1 LS2 LS6 kits, so well see I just sent an email to them last night so I am waiting to hear back from them.

If not Ill go with a Maggie or something along those lines.

The kenne will fit on the motor but who knows if it will hit the firewall/hood/accesories on the front/etc.

Insurance when I checked for a few different cars varied. I'm 24 and the cost of a 2001 cobra was the same as a 2005 cts-v. I think the termi was about $25 more a month.

Got an Email back from Kenne Bell, and this is what was told to me

We never had that car here to test fitment but unless the front drive assembly is exactly the same as a C5 Corvette it's not even going to fit on the motor itself. If it did happen to fit and line up on the motor you would then have to deal with some possible clearance issues to things like the hood, firewall, etc. I'd recommend trying to get in touch with Jeff Gooss at Total Performance & Engineering in Las Vegas, NV.

its only making 481 Hp and like 465 TQ on 5PSI, that doesn't sound to promising, thats not alot of boost, I personally would rather run a S/C Plus I don't like the idea of a Rear Mounted turbo.

from my understanding the 06-07 Rear is slightly better then the 04-05 Version.

Also you think with a ATI Procharger Id be able to Hit High 11's maybe 10's it wouldn't be a bad idea to go with a an F-1 ATI.

you'll need much stronger diff than what came in the caddy to get into the 10. the 06 up is better but they will fail with that much power. madman racing makes a kit but its pricey.

BTW I had an ms4 cam in my car. I loved it. I broke a rod a few short months latter and now the car has a maggie and a LG G5X1 cam.

Yea I know about the Madman Racing Rear end upgrade, do you have any sound clips of the cam in your car? IIRC didn't they make a AWD version of the CTS-V as well.

I've got one on my phone I'll try and get up. The only one I have is untuned.

And they never made an AWD V

I just wanna be different from everyone else, I mean its not very often you see a modified CTS with a V8 lol, rather then getting a F-Body Camaro or a GTO etc you know what I mean.

Just Curious, is there any other S/C that would work with the LS2 and LS6 besides the maggie, I know there was a guy on here working on making the KB fit to a GTO I wonder if that could also work on the CTS and F-Body Camaro's etc, it seems like the Whipple is the size of the Maggie from the looks of pics and it says it fits LS2/LS6/LS3 etc.
