You might look into the fuel pump that Capown is selling.

I ran a 150 and a 175 shot on my 99 vette. I used one size larger fuel jet just to make me feel better. Also one heat range cooler spark plug would make you feel safer also. I ran over 30 bottles through with no problems before I sold the car. The only reason I went back to the 150 shot was traction!

Black Car didn't have an issue but going lean is not what you want to do when on the bottle. I'd do it for insurance.

Yea, the pump may not be a bad idea considering the LS-1 made less power than the LS-6. And who knows the V could have the same pump my Vette had or worse maybe even smaller.

I definately believe in being safe with nitrous.

I would also recommend using some octane boost when you know your going to spray it.

Enjoy!

hmmm... ill start a thread when i gettin ready to install the kit... i still gotta get some odds and ends aorund before i install it... plus i wanna have my headers, exhaust, perhaps a slighly larger cam and springs, rockers... so then i can just go and have the tune done all at once on the dyno...

As long as you have enough fuel, enough octane, colder plugs, and a good tune you should be ok.

People that hurt their stuff 99% of the time was missing one of the above items or they tried spraying really at too low of an rpm.

Buy a window switch that controls when you start spraying(3500rpm for example) when you stop spraying(6000rpm) and you should be good. The window switch I had on my old stang you could lock out 1st, 2nd, etc so that if you wanted to spray in 3rd and 4th you could arm the system, give it hell through 1st and 2nd and when you shifted to 3rd and went wot the kit would turn on.

thats a very good point! that's how a turbo works, as it's only under a full load do you
get full boost. ie:3rd gear at @ 3700rpm is full boost.
sounds like a win win, and for 1/10th the cost.
