I pulled my shifter (stock) with boot and all right out of the console at a red light the other day!! My wifes eyes looked like they were going to pop out of her head. You shoulda seen me trying to get it back on while I was LMAO at her reaction. I got it down far enough to get pulled over so I could get it put back on right.

Did you know the stock shifter looks like a piece of exhaust pipe from a Honda Civic!!

I meant the part going into the 4" fart can. You know the massive 1.5" mandrel bent tubing.

What is the cost for a UUC kit with all parts included? And how hard would it be for someone that has NEVER done this before?????

If you feel an aftermarket shifter you'll never look at the stocker again.

Never owned one. But deff more than the Katech or the B&M.
I installed my Katech and it wasn't that bad. It would be alot easier with a lift but on my back it still wasn't a huge PITA. A set of ratchet wrenches would be helpful. It took me 30 minutes to get 2 nuts off of thier studs with a traditional wrench. My mom went on a tool run and putting the nuts back on took 1 min total.

That's why I went with B&M, but I did use UUC bushings.

I tried both before I bought and couldn't really see any difference.

I tried both and noticed a big difference. The B&M is much shorter and tighter. The UUC I tried even had the UUC bushings...

I still don't know how I could justify the extra $150+ for the UUC.

If the B&M were $150 more than the UUC, I would still buy the B&M.

he's right... b&m feels like a gated shifter it's nice and notchy with short throws.
i'll take a very, and i'm saying, "very low noise" tradoff in favor of the b&m.
