Default K and N intake on 06

Has anyone tried to get the 04-05 K and N full intake on the 06, I think they have a different size throttle boty, but I was wanting a K and N intake for my car, but they don't make one, will this work?

I went rate to the K and N site and they got nothing on there, maybe they took it off, I can get a real good deal on this kit so thats why I want to pick it up. So is there a chance it will bolt up or no? thanks for the help

ive seen gains of about 10 whp, which isnt bad for under 300$

Also i was wondering if the GTO intake would fit if your worried about the TB?

Its almost exactly the same but im not sure if out the elbow on the ctsv has less room to turn. The GTO has a slight cut out but i think the v might have the room.

There is little room for the intake tube, I don't think the GTO on would fit.

The K&N tube will fit either LS6 or LS2 throttle body - the outside diameter of the TB are almost the same. The only difference for the '06+ is the extra hose connection.

GTO tube would probably hit the PS pulley. I am tinkering with a cold air setup will post results when in.

Homemade.

This is my factory looking tube. I am working on an open element cold air kit that would eliminate the air box.

I just got the 04-05 kit on my 06, runs fine, the what looks like the PCV valve or breather hose coming out of the valve cover, some sort of breather hose, I havent had any codes come up yet, but it does make a decent sucking noise, any info on that, and what have you guys done with that hose? I just zip tied a little piece of on old foam filter so it keeps stuff from getting in it
