Default uuc motor mounts

is there a place to get them cheaper than lindsey cadillac?... i talked my dealer into putting in these mounts for me when they replace the stock ones under warranty... and giving me the new stock ones back... nothing like free labor!

Lindsay Cadillac is the only distributor for UUC's Cadillac parts.

close to $400 I think including the trans mount, maybe $385? I don't know I haven't bought them.

I've got a set of the new yellow mounts I'll sell you. I installed the RC51 mounts and got these on exchange. Whats a good price for a set of mounts only? I only have the engine, no trans.

Is this something you replace because the motormounts have gone bad, or just an upgrade for preventative measures?

Any telltale signs of worn motor mounts?

The stock motor mounts are soft rubber with a liquid filling. Kind of like gushers fruit snacks.

They just don't last. They crack and leak. Besides the leak, excessive shake at shutdown can be a sign.

The yellow ones are the new design from UUC. The first batch they made were black and had some problems that the yellow ones seem to have corrected.

RC51 mounts are custom mounts made by a member on cadillacforums. I think they're about $200.

Guys the 2003RC51 mounts are top notch. They are great. They do have more vibs so be aware, but they are livable.
