I just dont see the point....or past the point of being low for aesthetic purposes, and handling cant possibly be retained at that height.....like the front looks ok....a little low, but ok....the back however just looks absurd.

everyones entitled to their opinion right?

that has a completely different everything....suspension, center of gravity, length/width of chasis, stiffness of chasis i could go on and on....that cannot be compared one bit to our cars except for the crest/badge on the front grill.

Here's mine. QA1 adjustable shocks and Ground Control with 500F/550R springs. I raised the car about 1/2" in the from and 3/4" in the rear after I took these shots. It was too low for NYC streets.

people prob feel the same with you who lowered your car and changed the rims and tire sizes that gm built the car to use.

I am serious. You mod your car how you like yet others do the same you did and you have negative things to say to them. since when did your idea for modding become the proper method to do things?

When you lowered your car did you conduct proper track testing to ensure your race bred handling wasnt messed up? how about when you altered the weights of the 4 corners of your car?

yet you jump in here on someone to say that they messed up something even though you prob did just the same.

ohh and what did you need the extra hood clearance for? trick intake manifold? giant blower? a way to vent extra heat from the massive turbos you have hidden in the engine bay? you prob did it because you like how it looks, and you paid for it. so i'm sure you wouldnt like someone telling you how bad it is, then cover it up by saying "everyones entitled to their opinion right" like that hides the fact that your negative comments in this thread isnt doign anything but dragging it down.

Had mine too low in this pic when I first installed the GC (Oct 27, '06), but thought it was "cool" to use as my avatar ...

So, I raised it up so it ended up being about 0.75" lowered from stock. This pic (May 28, '07) ran in the August issue of GMHTP a couple of years back ...

Thanks, guys. Even if it's only that 1/2 or 3/4 inch lower, a V looks so-o-o much better lowered, IMHO.

And, 2003RC51's black V looks outstanding as well as jnrandall's! Black is the best, no doubt!
