We need some reviews to give us an idea of what we are getting. Spending 1800 to be able to do a burnout isnt worth it to me, i wanna see some track launches.
they send me a set to try and ill go gernade a few differentials... im under warranty still and my dealer does what ever they need to do for me now... hell, my service writer even sed i can put my spray on and the only thing they wont cover is if i complain about codes coming up all the time... he sed and i quote " that spray wont hurt a thing, will stand behind what ever as long as its not codes poppin up all the time" push comes to shove id pull strings at the plant...

send me axles if you want a kick *** parts review!

Good idea.

Does anyone know if fan switches are as easy to make for these cars as they are for fbodys? ..or will the computer get pissed off?

I mean for cooling down at the drag strip. An open hood and fans on high for 20 minutes after a pass can make a huge difference for the next one.

ya but you cant set it to low or they will run non stop, and one fan turns off after a speed of around 30 the secondary shuts down around 60 ?
( dont qoute my on the MPH but i know they kick off after a certain speed.

Otherwise the bearings in the fan woulld go to hell fighting against 80mph of wind..

BMR Bushings (and that's it)

I've "tested" these axles many times by 2k, 3k, 4k clutch dumps from a dead stop, and they do exactly what they are supposed to do. Eliminate wheel hop. The burnouts are smooth as butter. They are the ****!!!
I can post videos if you want. I posted two on CF forum, and a writeup how to put em in.

What I'm talking about is a hard 1st to 2nd, or 2nd to 3rd shift. I know it won't wheelhop (not worried about that anymore) just worried about the stress of it all on the weakass aluminum case. After breaking a diff, you tend to be a little gun shy. I'll go to the track one of these days and run it as hard as I can, but I'm not in a big hurry.

Does anyone have a pic of the diff outside the car? I know it's been talked about before but on the 03/04 cobras guys are buying a brace that goes on the diff to make it more rigid.

Potentially. I run my Trans Am all the time and there is usually no difference between cooling down and not cooling. Often, I run faster on a hot lap and my car is very consistent (I can run all day and not vary more the .1).

I've got 'em both. May be redundant, though ... just don't know. Haven't got the nerve to shed the KARS, yet.

There are plenty that have beat on them as hard as you can, doesnt matter if its at the track or on a side road, wide open launches are wide open no matter where you are.

i would like to see what gains you get from the axles at the strip, if i can go 13.6 with all the stock stuff, why would i spend 2k to go 13.4? thats the difference. a lot of talk has been said about how much faster the V would be if it could be launched hard, well lets see it where its gonna hop the most, hooking on a prpped track.

As soon as either his or Geforce's econo axles are released to the public I'll have track times.
