Noones noticed Mike Nice's car on ebay?

The stock LS6 actually handles boost fairly well for a stock NA motor. Especially at the low power levels that car is producing .

it doesn't matter what motor it is. if you put boost on a motor with a 10+:1
CR and stock pistons.....its not going to last. especially the way that dude drove it. that motor was seeing pressure about as often as it was vacuum....
ive been running 5psi on my LT1 for a few years now and im waiting for it to let loose. it only gets about 1k miles on it per year though. and i dont drive the **** out of it. i have taken it to the strip though.
an aluminum truck motor.....

From my experience, the LS2 does even better under boost actually. I made very good numbers on a bone stock LS2 (throttle body to oil pan) with a twin turbo setup
Yes, I meant it handles boost well for a motor that is NA in stock form.
They still hold up better than you'd think. With a good tune and such, you can get away with up to ~12-14psi safely on an LS2. I've known people to run more than that (myself included) and had good luck, though you are pushing things at that level. Just keep them out of detonation and keep them fed with plenty of fuel and they are pretty damn durable!
As for you running 5psi on an LT1 and waiting for it to blow- keep waiting, it's going to be a while at such a low boost level- especially with only ~1000 miles a year on it . Again, with good tuning, you can actually push these things pretty far. Heck, even Fords- I am building an 86 GT street/strip car that will have a stock 351 (for next season, will be built after that) with a single turbo setup. Guys have gone low 9's on stock 351 bottom ends and boost- and this is a shortblock that was originally designed for NA as well. Only advantage there is my motor stock is a weak 8.8:1 compression- perfect boost motor
that kinda didnt make sense. if a motor is a "stock NA motor", then its not going to have boost.....because its naturally aspirated. did you mean that it handles boost well even though it was built with the intentions of being NA?

Haha, it's looking like he probably should have just accepted the $25k high bid on his last auction lmao. "Many offers near asking price"- sure.... Not only do we here see him as a tool, apparently the shoppers on ebay have little faith in him as well ..

So I'm at the Orchard Beach car show in the Bronx last Sunday and I see this Turbo CTS-V, So I talk with the owner for a minute and he tells me if I'm on LS1TECH to go on and say that I seen Mike Nice's Cadillac and how sick it is....lol....So I'm lookin' at this guy and I get to thinking that I seen him somewhere before...... I get back to work on Monday and make a long story short, my cousin and I realize that "Mike Nice" is actually DJ Serch from the early 90's rap group "3rd Base" ! A complete Has-Been rapper !!!
