Default 805 rwhp on stock 'Truck Motor/LS2' using PC F1C

Posted on another forum (the big vette one, check in C6 FI), do not have specifics regarding boost, but I think this will make me stop bashing 'The Truck Motor', then again I have one in my C6, and my V gave up the LS6 a few years back:

I think an LS6 could do that too. Maybe once or twice lol If in fact it is a stock LS2, it will not survive at that level for very long.

Yeah, but with that power curve you know you would live at red line.

I don't care if it does it only once, that's awesome!

Here is the link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-f...c-805rwhp.html

I have been told that on the LSx motor the crank is more than adequate for 600+RWHP, the pistons should be good as long as no bad fuel or bad tune issues, and the rods are the weakest link.

Yeah the rods and the rod bolts. But at the level I would never trust a stock bottom end. And he's pushing some air through that thing too so I wouldn't feel very safe without head and main studs.
