Bone stock V w/ 50k on it hitting the strip tonight. Advice? Time for some baselines before the blower goes on. Any suggestions on dragging these beasts? I know hop is a killer so I am going to get out of it if the hop is really bad. I run RE11 tires, so I should stick pretty well out of the hole. I don't think I'll do a burnout in the box because...well..I have never done a burnout before 
Otherwise, what kind of ETs/traps should I shoot for?

Man, you guys make me NOT want to run it. Ive been here long enough to know the dif is fragile, the bushings suck and the pinion angle isn't the best, but really...should I be expecting a kaboom? Maybe I'll just go spectate 
I forgot to mention, I have the UUC trans mount and UUC dif mount.
I really thought these difs were ok as long as there isn't any hop. Are they really not strong enough for any sort of "good" 60'?

Rev to around 3000, slip the clutch, if you get hop get out of it, be easy on the first couple shifts.

Here are a few:
1) Ride the clutch out at 2,000rpm, if you have no wheel hop keep going up 500rpms, you will not want to go above 3,000rpm
2) Put in Competitive Driving Mode, no need to turn off all features
3) If you want to be a baller, pull out rear seat & spare tire, drop rear tires to 22psi, go with 36psi up front, make sure A/C is off, put sideview mirrors back
4) Make sure your AAA membership is current
5) Get out of wheelhop, a crappy time is better than a broken rear
6) Aim for 13.6-13.7secs, try for a 2.15-2.25sec 60' time
7) Enjoy yourself, the results are only secondary to having a good time

2k launch is probably a better way of ensuring no wheel hop and ensuring that your clutch doesnt stick to the floor after a couple of runs
The stock clutches do not like much abuse. My runs were in 90 degree weather so maybe the clutch will hold up better in cooler weather. Trending Topics

feather the clutch out of the hole, there is NO dumping the clutch in this car. it will take a few runs to get used to but itll come. I went from 14.1 my first time at the track(2 runs) to a 13.6 my second time at the track(2 runs). wheel hop sucks and it WILL bog off the line most likely but it sure is fun banging some gears.

You pay for the car , enjoy it. Dont be scared.
Doesnt mean you have do a burnout or a 6k launch.
With the right slip , tires and practice you will be ok.
or spend the money on some axles if you want to launch it with alot less worry, im waiting on the g-force review since they are priced fairly.

I don't see why you can't do at least a 13.5, let the clutch slip more than normal like everyone said. If it wheel hops let out
I have only ran 3 passes ever in my car (heavy 20" Foose wheels too - 2.3 60's which are just plain terrible) 14.1@105 first pass, 13.5@107 and 13.4@107 NO powershifting...felt good with that and left. It's not a drag car, and 13 second passes make me fall asleep ... lol

I ran BFG DRs on my stockers with stock axles back in 2006, think they were 265s, and cut a sub 2.00sec 60'. They grab plently, too good, as the 1-2 shift did me in. IMO, DRs without a bulletproof diff will get you towed home. Try for a 2.15-2.20sec 60' even if modded, as trying harder may prove costly.
