They can be hard to get out. Do you have it in a vise? A slide hammer and a vise works pretty good.
Put the axle nut on the outer stub and clamp it in the vise real good or do something so you dont damage the outer stub threads.
I used a big hammer and an aluminum punch smacking the cv joint while holding it in a vise and I've also hooked a slide hammer onto the end of it and popped it loose.
Several different ways to do it.

I might have to design and fab up some sort of tool to do this on a loaner program.

Let me know how you do.

THanks
Chris

Do you offer an exchange program like Hendrix does where you send in your axle for rebuild?

Dammit MM, hurry up and test these and provide feedback

All kidding aside, did you go with 1 axle? Big Axle or econo size? Or is that even an option with GeForce? I get them confused, sorry

The 04-05 gets the big passenger side axle
The 06-07 gets the smaller drivers side axle.
You can also get both for the best result and to save a little to boot.

I'll reword my web page to incude years so it's not confusing.

Thanks
Chris

yeah, thats my question. ive got an 05 so id need the pass side to stop the hop. but your site shows 04-07 drivers side, and 04-07 driver and pass combo. so i was wondering how i could get just the pass side.
thanks

The GM Service Manual says explicitly not to reuse the axle nut. I don't know for sure, but I assume it has to do with the fact that it is a relatively fine thread and may be approaching the torque-to-yield point at the specified torque value.
