Gforce Engineering CTS-V Big axle kits I now have the big axle kit loaded into my on line store.
I have a batch of 10 axles going through the machine shop right now.
It will be at least 2 weeks before they are done.

I have 4 axle kits spoken for so that leave 6 left in this batch.
For those wondering, we design our own products and our products are made by us.
Our axles are made of billet 300m, the strongest material available for making axles.
We then heat treat them in a special vacuum chamber process to give a deeper penetration on the hardness.
We even coat our axles in a baked on polyurethane finish for a show room look

I have also added drivers side axle kits as well as a package deal for driver and passenger side axles for $549.

Damn I thought everyone was replacing the driverside halfshaft. I just got done replacing the diff in my car. That would have been the perfect time to do this. LOL

All the big passenger side axle kits shipped Friday, the drivers side axle kits will ship Tuesday. I had to order in some different cv boot clamps.

got mine, thanks. will install next week while waiting on the supercharger to arrive.
any install tips, tricks, or instructions of any kind?
also i assume it was supposed to come with two different dust boots and that it's fine that one doesnt fit snug on the shaft (bigger hole than the shaft) . also assume that i was supposed to only get one c ring

Only install tip I can give is when you use a jack to unload the suspension, make sure the jack it dead center and not binding the a arm...I had a helluva time getting bolts in/out till I finally realized the a arm was binding and fcking up all the geometry. And a impact gun is nice for the spindle nut too.

The axle end with the retaining ring goes in the outer cv joint.
The boots are not the ideal size but as close as I could get until I can find a better match.
The one with the big hole will snug up on the axle when the clamp is installed and the smaller one will stretch out, make sure you use a little wd 40 or grease to slide it on.

The inner cv joints has a retaining ring you have to spread apart, then you pull the axle out.
The axle is held into the outer cv joint with the retaining ring. It has to be pulled out. A vise works good with getting the outer cv joint off.
Going back together, dont forget to put the boots on first (slide up towards middle of axle to get them out of the way).
The inner cv joint just slides on and will snap into place.
The out just slides in also and will snap in place once the snap ring gets past the cv joint.
Put some grease in the cv joints if needed, slide the boots up onto the boot flanges, install the clamps and your done with the axle.
