Has one axle with the 06/07 LS2 been tested? Just trying to determine if I really need both axles.

Yes, you only need one axle to fix the hop, and yes it has been tested on another LS2 V. Many LS2 Vs have bought it, but only a handful have installed it.

Dannboss and I were the original testers (we paid full price). We both received the larger diameter 300m passenger side axle. We installed them and it fixed the hop on Dannboss' LS6 V but not on my LS2.
I called Gforce and told him that it did not fix the hop on my car. So he (on his own dime) sent them the new thinner driver side axle. He apologized for the mistake and said he would even cover installation at my local shop. That was installed and now my hop is gone.

If you want to fix hop in the least expensive manor just by the single axle. He will let you know which one you need. That was the path I was intending on going. If you want to clear up the hop and have stronger axles all around spend the extra $200 and get both. You cant go wrong with Gforce.

This Saturday from 8am-noon. We'll probably get there right at 8 and stay for a few hours. Last time it was so packed you couldn't leave until the cars parked in the middle of the rows left.

Even better, the V loves those cold mornings.

Too bad Plano PD has different ideas. When leaving C&C it's so tempting to get on it hard with all the people lined up watching. Plano loves to write exhibition of speed tickets.

k maybe im just stupid and/or missed this being covered already... whats stopping me from going to a salavage yard and snagging a 06/07 larger diameter axle and putting it in my 05 and enjoying the same results as buying one of these axles....

It just doesnt work well. The OEM 06-07 axles are hollow for one (so I've been told) and I've been told people have tried it with not much luck.

Thanks
