Corny topic, I know, but bear with me..

I've noticed that some CTS-V's have the "CTS" emblem on the right side of the deck lid and others don't. Mine doesn't. What years did they have them? Also, I heard somewhere that '06 was the first year they put the "GM" emblem on the sides..which mine doesn't have either. I'm assuming the previous owner took them off, or is it possible I have an early '06 that managed to not recieve them?

Any help's appreciated.

 

I have an 05 and the first thing I did when I bought the car was take the dealer sticker off and the CTS emblem.

all 04-07's had the CTS on the decklid. alot of people remove the CTS, but I cant see anyone pulling the famous V.

 

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I would've took them off anyway, I was just curious about them. Mine still has the "V" emblems..

 

I'm going to remove all the non-V emblems very soon on mine.

 

Have you checked to see if the car had ever been in an accident? They would have removed all or some of the emblems if they had done any body work! Thats what happened to mine! I had Crest put them on but they only put the V emblems back on! No CTS emblems here... lol

 

Never been in an accident. Checked the overall body (from top to bottom) and of course, CarFaxed it. It came out A-ok.. Apparently the previous owner tried personalizing it by removing the emblems and tinting the windows. No worries, since I would've done the same anyway, so it just saves me time and money.

 

I debadgered my car (CTS and V embz) I love the neck straining from people trying to figure out what the grumble-mobile is.

Hmmm, just the opposite for me. I want them to know that Cadillacs go and they are looking at an American Car.

 

I left the V emblem and pulled off the CTS to replace it with the LS6 emblem.
