hey how would you like to get spanked by a 4000 lb deville,in your oh so shitty ctsv? ill run circles around you on an auto x track. thats about how dumb you sound. btw performance cars arnt meant to have heated seats and navigation systems. oh and i see your car does 13.6 in the quarter, and you would run circles around me huh? you really are dumb.

yea, damn those guys at GM for putting heated and air conditoned seats in corvettes, track times dont mean **** and neither does your worthless opinion and lack of automotive knowledge.

and BTW how do you plan on spanking me in your deville(thanks for spelling it right this time) if you dont even know how to start the POS.....doh i replaced my steering column and forgot to plug all the wires back in!!!! let me ask the guys in a 2004-2010 CTS-V forum on an LSX website if they can help me troubleshoot my 1991 deville.

i only said said my caddy would beat yours because u said a cadillac will run circles around me on an autox track. so i said that so you would realize how dumb it sounds for a cadillac to out handle a camaro. and yet again this site is not restricted to LSx motors you dip ****, maybe you should go rag on the guy with an lt1, and tell him that he should go post somewhere else. and ya i posted in a cadilac forum, i dident see any other caddy forums so i picked the only one on the site. and again cause your getting this, its a gm site not just a lsx site.

The title of this forum is "Cadillac CTS-V 2004-2010"

EDIT: I've had 3 4th gen fbodys with hundreds and hundreds of track passes and the V is no comparison. Stock for stock the V is almost as fast or as fast as the fbody. You get an LS6 or LS2 motor, 6 speed, 4 doors, caddie comforts...its the perfect car. Well the 09 is the perfect car since they fixed a lot of the weak links, but I'm happy with mine and would never go back to an fbody unless I was building a track car.

^ Having owned both, the V is a much better overall handling car espically for its weight.

I had the same thouhts when i bought the cadi.

The pros with the cadi
-There isnt 40 of them out on a sunday afternoon on the same road
-4 drs so its alittle more practical
-not as much of a cop magnet
-Its a cadillac with 400hp

to down sides of the cadi
-No were near as fast as a c6
-If you want a 1/4 mile the cadi is not a smart choise

Final thought.
Even with my cam, headers, and bolt ons. On the highway My cadi runs just about even with a stock manual C6..

Niiice, my stock V walked 3 bolt on ls1 fbodies... at the same time. Sounds like a turd.

To OP... get whichever meets your needs. I already had 2, 2 seaters... so i got the V.

I had the same debate a couple years ago, my thread may even still be on here?

Anyways, I decided to go with the ls3 c6, and i was very happy with my choice.. The c6 is defintely more recognized as a more exotic car and "chick magnet".. and the speed/handling is amazing.

ALTHOUGH!
I just found out I have my first child on the way, and I think I am going to get rid of the vette and go for the V. I saw a man walk out to his "grocery getter" caddy (v) and crank it up, and WOW... to hear a caddy cammin almost made me **** myself... incredible..

Just my 2 cents..

no matter what you say about a cadillac, a corvette will always be better. its really not a tough choice.

Thats why every time Im at a car meet all the vette owners swarm around my V to check it out and ask me if they could sit in it and they all love it.

go cry to your moma not on the forum.

Vettes are a dime a dozen, CTS-V is not a car you see alot often

Who cares if its alittle slower. The V is basicly a vette with a rear seat, and you ride like a king .

To the guy with the reading comprehension impairment (Mike Nice wannabe?)........bring your F-car (or your deVille) and about $2.5k. You pick the venue. I'll take your $2.5k and in return, I'll hand you your a$$.
