Default CTSV or C6?

I'm curious what you guys think of the 07 models of CTSV? I have a few around that are 07 with like 28k miles or so on them and I've also been kicking around a few 07 C6 vettes that are in the same price range. What would you get if you were me and is there any issues with the 07 CTSV's Would it be worth buying for 24k off a dealer lot 07 all the options 28k miles?

The C6 is a bit lower milage its an 07 with only 3850 miles for a little more 30, but still its like a brand new car!

Decisions... decisions ...

Two way different animals. If I wanted a 2 seater/2 door car, I'd have gotten the C6. I wanted a 4 door so I went with the V. What works better for your situation?

I hear ya, I could use the 4 door with my kiddo, but then again I have a truck with 4 doors that i probably wont trade since its an 03 f150 super crew and they wouldnt give me **** for it. I figure why trade it, its paid for and only has like 70k mi on it.

So yeah.. i just want to get another car and i was just lookin at these 2 so far.

both are pretty nice its just a hard decision

If I were in that situation I'd get the C6. At least you have the other 4 door for when you need to tote the kiddo around. Besides, by the time he can appreciate car stuff like dad, he'll probably opt for the 2 door one anyway and feel more special being the only other passenger in it!

id go c6 if you have the coin, either way youll have a truck motor lol. if you plan to mod, most definetly the c6, if you want a cruiser that 4 people can cruise around in get the V, just know itll be expensive to make the V as fast as the c6 is stock. And with mods on the c6 itll be damn near impossible for teh V to keep up.

I personally wouldn't get a c6 unless it was a zo6... It's like a cts is to a cts v, anything worth buying is worth buying right the first time...

i dont think you can compare a 6 cylinder cts to a LSX V8 vette. Its not like a C6 is such a downgrade like going from a V to a regular CTS.

That is a terrible comparison. The cts have twice the hp difference between models then the vettes have.

You need to look at the mod costs involved to make a C6 faster than a C6Z, and also similar in looks and handling, it is much less than the price differential. Also, parts such as suspension, wheels/tires, body kit can be done at a savings over buying a C6Z. The C6Z is a great car, if you can afford it get it, but if you cannot afford to get into one, over time you can get close with a C6 at a cost savings. The difference between a C6, any year, is a huge difference compared to the V1. Also, a 2008+ with the LS3 will get damn close to a C6Z's HP with a cam, headers and a tune. Also, if C6 has LS3 it is '08 or newer.

I no that was a horrible comparison, I was using it to make a point tho... Instead of a 4x4 I buy a z71 package truck. Guess it was just how I was raised, buy the best model you can from the factory and go from there.
