My dyno is a Super Flo which is an eddy current type like a Mustang dyno. I've heard that you can't see any results on these types of dynos. I don't now if it's true or not. My dyno results did not change at all. I would like to take a pull on a dyno jet just to see what numbers I come up with.

There are lots of twins that will work. This Fidanza is meant for a 2010 Camaro. This guy just has the ability to produce the correct spacers for this to work in the V. Textralia has a twin as well as McLeod. Its just a matter getting a spacer or the correct slave to work with the clutch. I just bough an Exedy that was made for an LS7 Vette. If its made for a direct fit, then either the LS7 slave I have or the spacer I have for the stock slave should work. Of course I will measure everything before it goes together just to make sure.

Well........I've always thought that the lower weight of the drive train would reduce the parasitic loss to the rear wheels. Normally it's 15 to 17% in a V (so I've heard) 400bhp/ 335rwhp. It certainly seems to make sense that you could realize some gains. I would defer to some other propeller heads that know all the physics involved. I don't think anyone who drove the twin would say that the cars performance did not feel improved. Most guys buy twins to hold up to some big power. I didn't.

I think the exedy can come with either. Not sure which one I have until it comes in. Most likely not but that doesn't really bother me. I just want something that will shift gears all the way to redline. Haven't been able to do that now for a while with the spec.

Gforce runs a sale every so often for the monster at 897 shipped and thats with everything including a new slave and pilot bearing, all u need is a remote bleeder which is 50 from tick.
Plus if the twin disk is rated at 500 tq which it says 500hp, ill be at 500rwhp but most likely 550-575 on spray with my cam going in next week. I know the 6.5 would prolly hold sionce i dont launch it but why not put the 7.6 in just in case i want more down the road.

I think to comapre it to the 6.5 you have to look at the price of the light weight fly.
Plus The 6.5 is rated for 625ft/lb of tq. Thats plenty.
Then monster is ratted for 700 which is alittle higher.
But the twin disk should still still out last it if disigned right .
I like raven also just want to bang gears at high RPM's, because I havent been able to since I installed the spec back in november.

Yea ill look around it sounds like the twin disk is where its at but i really would prefer something besides fidanza. I also would be happier with the 28lb flywheel then the 18lb. Maxspeed what are you revving your car to with the cam, ill have mine in next week and the tuner/installer said id have the rev limiter at 6900 and shift at 6800 but i doubt ill be shifting that high on a stock clutch and flywheel for long..

I'd pick a twin over a single puck style disk. The new twins just drive better. The singles have been around and they work, but in order to get them to hold, you need a high sprung plate and a real high friction disk. That being said, there are plenty of good singles out there but almost every major clutch manufacturer is coming out with a twin now.

You shouldnt have any issues with a 18lb fly, I have a 22 and its not bad at all. Idle is fine and the qwk revs feel awsome.
And fidanza is a good brand and has been in the game for years, im sure they have a good product. Monster does to Im sure, but do get brainwashed by the lime green paint and the badass smiley face.. lol

lol i hear ya im doing a melling high volume pump as well. Im definetly gonna get him to tuen the nitrous rich just to be safer. I guess when the time comes ill really dive into the clutch research, im leaning towards the tiwn disc but hate the limited reviews so far. Lets hope that issue comes later rather then soon.
