we regularly see -1000ft to -2000ft DA here in louisiana in the winter too. I didnt get a chance to run this winter in the V (the times are in the summer). I had a stock 4 door 05 GMC HD with the 6.0L motor. Last winter it went 15.9X in the winter...high 16s in the summer.

in my opinion if u want to see and decent run out of that car your going to deff need axles first off and second wait for the temp to drop in to the low 60s high 50s

The CTSV rear end conversion is no longer available through Madman & Co. Racing. Due to the rising cost of component parts and low demand, it is not feasible for us to accept these jobs any longer, so our CTSV conversion has been discontinued.

Sad to hear. You helped some really high hp Vs get the power to the ground.

Man, Im in Phoenix, and chasing 11s as well. My best time is a 12.2@124.6 on 245/45/18 all seasons. I need drag radials for sure. These cars are a lot harder to launch than a GTO. Some people don't understand that. I've owned a GTO before, so I know very well.

Never said all the drivers were bad, but I guess thats the way it was translated. Some people do not care to read what is said. GTO's are by no means easy to launch...many have popped the rear doing it. I have not taken the V to the track yet, but something is obviously a common issue if these 400+rwhp cars are not running consistent low 12's and even 11's.

I guess I just have to see for myself.

Mallett offers a Dana 44 differential upgrade for the CTS-V, but it'll run you $7k.
