Default ctsv corvette rims

whats goin on fellas just bought a 2004 ctsv with 15000 miles for 23,000. Had it for 2 days then i broke my axle, That really sucked...anyways was wondering if corvette c5 or c6 rims might fit the cts-v. Ive seen it done on a fbody looked pretty clean.... Or if anybody has already done it, do ya have pics, let me know

I think I heard about you on the other forum (cadillacforums.com). Sorry to hear about the rear end.

Regarding the wheels, the V is 6 lug (yes, lame I know) so corvette wheels won't fit. You're pretty limited to wheel selections due to the 6 lugs.

I'm currently stocking up parts to convert over to 5 lug which is C5 Hubs, 2010 Camaro SS rotors and wheels of your choice. I wanted more selections in wheels and something different thus my converting.

Hey keep us posted on the conversion, I like this plan as well. Maybe start a thread yourself. Sorry to thread jack but there isn't much else to be said for this question.

i agree i like the idea just wonder how cost effective it would be as opposed to just ordering custom wheels.

Well, I paid $220 shipped for my hubs with new studs (really good deal) and take off rotors from a camaro SS are like 150 shipped. I'm still deciding what wheels to go with so that's up for question. I really like these wheels (split spokes with red stripe) but I'd have to have 2 of them narrowed since I'd want 4 of the 19x10's http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-p...-in-stock.html. Not too bad, It still beats 3K just for wheels such as CCW.

I can't say that yet...I still really like the spyders but I'd want 19's. I'd need to find 19's with C6 offsets (front wheels). Any ideas? I'm not even sure the ones I posted will work with the aggressive offsets.
I know nothing about offsets etc.
