Default Reverse at 130MPH!

Reverse at 130MPH! Ya it works.

Yesterday on the freeway I dropped it down to 3rd gear went WOT, Hit 4th Gear and was going for 5th gear but I found Reverse gear instead. It made some grinding noise but i did not drop the clutch. Thank Gawd.

What the ****?

Anyone else have this problem?

did you install a skip shift eliminator? If you put it on the wrong side of the trans it disables the reverse lockout instead of the 1-4 lockout....or the solenoid could have just gone bad.

My reverse lockout always fails. I put a new one in and some times it works and sometimes it doesn't. I just take it easy when I go for 5th now.

I take it easy as well after it happened to me...I caught it on tape. Pause it @ :32/ 134 mph, you can see the Reverse Indicator Lamp

there is no way you would ever get the car into reverse at speed, it would make that grinding sound yes, but never actually get it into gear, be careful, but if you hear that sound be ready to pull it back into neutral quick
