To install the 9", you'll have to do a little bit of cutting on the cradle as seen in this pic. But other then that, it's a completly bolt in kit.

I agree that the price (although out of my range) is good considering you get a new and lighter drive shaft and some beefy axles with the new rear end.

yeah that really only makes the rear end cost around 2-3k when you minus the cost of the driveshaft and axles. not to hard to swallow.

im curious to see the other options with this kit when its all said and done

I can assume if we already have the DSS axles that they could not be used??? would be nice, reduce price by axles and I could be in business. could they be used or is a completely different setup??

GForce, thanks for doing something!!

I'm in the same boat here. I have DSS axles... if I can take them out and send them in for modification then this would be a definite possibility.

Is the built strange a street-able differential? Limited slip or something else?

I am mostly interested in a rear that doesn't whine and clunk and make odd noises when normal driving. The added strength is just a plus.

If this will give no vibrations into the cabin and be quiet, you'll have a winner on your hands.

You would be better off just selling the DSS axles, they would have to shortened and they would need new inner stubs since the splines will be a minimum of 31.
There are lots if options with the Strange Engineering built pumpkins with several posi options, very streetable and there won't be any noise issues with this rear.

Thanks
Chris

Maybe 3-4 weeks.

Were installing some new cnc machines this week so that is going to stop production for a couple weeks.

Thanks
Chris

Why run a high pinion in the rear? They are much weaker than low pinions in a rear application.

looks like a badass build. 5500 is still too rich for my blood(not saying its not a sick deal because it is). Just for the way i use the car i dont see the cost benefitting me that much.

Then why all the effort to come back? This is your first post and all.
And you're the one calling people losers??
All this coming from a guy who can't formulate a proper sentence which reads like a 5 year old was typing it.
Typical "more money than brains" arrogant post.
