this is the order i would look too, with slight mods.

i dont like to 335. there interior isnt that good IMO. i have 2 friends, one has a 2006 325 and has a 2008 335. and to me, the interior is worse then the V1. BWM interior just doesnt work for me.

Enough Enough...

Here it is...

I have PERSONALLY installed and dyno'd a Kleeman K2 package on a 05 E55.

It is faster than the CTSV stock of course, if Jayplay does a nice H / C or FI on the CTSV, it should DOODOO on an E55. DUH

Jayplay is going to blow up like 9 rear ends and since we have a rear end issue my favor is in the E55 and its a better choice considering the baby/wife. Jayplay wants power, you can get some serious TQ our of that engine. Its an MB, different ANIMAL than the GM performance CTSV.

I love my LS engine vehicles but my suggestion is the E55 vs V1...but V2 for sure over E55/E63 anyday.

NOW FOR THE E55 CONS.

The major issues with that stupid MB is: engine head gasket leaks, stupid IC pump, stupid Supercharger HEAT, open glass roof sucks ***** - body feels like it will fall apart under load.

Other than that, man it was pretty quick with the K2 package.

haha,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ALnErKUAS0

Both were modded and both lost traction.

This video causes so much headache of arguments for me...The SRT8 dyno'd 385 that day.

WHAT, I'm sorry, but BMW interior is nice. 5 and 7 series is of course the top dawgies but the 3 is decent!

Take it back! Let me break your pushrod and rear end now!

Ok wow, only V2 i could find under 50k in florida haha
http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/ctd/1926912146.html

And for what it matters...IMO V2>335/E55>V1>10 SS

BUT there is one more advantage the E55 CAN have in terms of practicality....7 passengers and cargo space.

i will not take it back...

3 is decent, but i still like the V1 more. minus the stupid button paint that plakes off. and yes the 5 and 7 are way better by far. 5/7 > V1 > 3 IMO.

you and wanting to break my pushrod and rear...i am start to wonder about what you really want to do adam. b haha

Never thought of the 335, will look into that too. Thanks-

The advice in this thread is much better than I would have thought
lol they are not being listed below 50, you have find them and make offers.

first one I offered under 50 for was listed for 57, told them they were crazy. month later they called me saying they would take my offer, told them I had already got one sorry.

One i bought was listed over 50 as well, low balled, they countered and then came down again to what I wanted.

3rd one was same as the first one I mentioned. He said no way no how and called me back a few weeks later.

4th one was in Houston, didn't have recaro, had it listed at 49, sold for 48.

5th one was on ebay fully loaded, offered below 50 he refused, I went out of the country for vacation and when I came back saw he sold it on ebay for what I offered him, damnit!

Just get out there and look. You can find them. there is one in TN right now that someone on caddy forums is asking 47500 for, and there is one a dealer is selling in AL for 57, but it's modded, buy it from him in stock form and I'll buy the mods, lol and trust me he will lower it, he knows it's too high, but tyring anyway for a sucker.

they are still kind of hard to find. And most are really way high and dealers are not budging because people come in, don't know anything about them, drive it and then love it and buy it. There was another car I really wanted and this guy was asking 60 for a 09 with 2300 miles. I told him he was crazy, well he sold it the next day for 58, i was like "SUCKA"

you think you can mod a MB for 2 grand? your kidding right? My friend can't even buy a mid pipe for his m3 for under 2 grand.

Moding german cars is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Plus no one tunes them either so the places that do rape you. The reason I bought a v2 was because I could mod it and do it for a decent price.

Actually E46 M3s and 335s are pretty reasonable to mod.

Well if you use ebay parts which have been proven time and time again to be at least just as good as the "name brand ones"

$200 headers for an M3 and have an exhaust shop make you a one off from there.

For the 335i, Intakes do a lot and are relatively cheap, also the "ebay" Down Pipes for $200 shipped have also proven to be great. Same for the exhaust, and intercoolers.

And a VB3 is well worth the $600 or less if you buy used. Right there is a low 12 second car for the 335i.

They aren't crazy to mod, tunning is expensive though. I think it was like 800 for a tune for them and then just deleting the second cats is like 50bucks at a exhaust shop, and dr's are like 400. And that gives u like 800 for a pulley or intake

Yea but your dead on the german cars being expensive to mods.

Those are the rare examples lol them and select audis, other then that its pretty nuts.

AWDTBSS is right on the money, the tunes are what cost the big bucks, on non turbo BMWs even its pretty ridiculous, and usually the gains are minimal, the N/A beemers are pretty much maxxed out from the factory, and for MBs every one is pricey to tune, even the base 1.8 C class.
