for what you pay for the headers and tune you can make your v a low 11 sec or maybe a 10 sec car.

this x2...these cars are easily good for a 12.5 bone stock. i think that one needs the driver mod.

very true Dom.

i have seen a couple on youtube that have a few grand or so in them, and they are running 10.5 and lower. The HPE700 get your an 11.1, and a top speed of approxmently 211mph. With the HPE800 looking even more meaty . Not to metion with LPE has done. They offer one package for the V2, and its 2500 bucks and you will have 630rwhp and 630rwtq. Not saying that these are you best options, but they are good benchmarks to compare **** too...

But for 700 bucks you put a lower pulley on your V and you have 550 rwhp running low 11's. So yes much cheaper. Headers on a v are worthless until you start pushing near 700 rwhp

for 8k you can have Jesse make your v run 9's and still have about 4-5 k in the bank Ok maybe not that much, but for sure 3k still in the bank.

We can argue this all day long, but when it comes to modding there isn't a Import out there that is cheaper then Domestic. Imports are nice, they crank those puppies up and squeeze every inch of HP out of them, Domestics leave room to grow and mod. Modding is a Domestic thing. Imports have just kinda come in second place.

When it all comes down get what you want. My good friend has a e92 m3 and he LOVES it. Yes it's a sexy car and yes it gets looks, but so does mine. It's all in what you like. I also know that my v is much rarer then the m3's, so I get lots of looks too.

I never knew headers on a LSA CTS-V were worthless. I know on an E55, they are worth 40hp/60tq. I would definately have to agree with you on the $$:mod aspect.

really 40hp?

You have dyno proof of that? If all you have is a vendor I would not believe it....

I really doubt that headers add 40hp on the MB.... But that's just me. If you have dyno proof from a "non vendor" aka someone you know personally then ok, but if it's a vendor they are full of chit!

e55's were ahead of their time in terms of power. Problem now is they're all on the streets between 40-80k miles on each of them, ragged out, and out of warranty. Not only that but there are a couple things you need to do maintenance wise before you mod them like the ic pump i believe. I see lots of teens and 21 yr olds beating the **** out of old e55's mommy and daddy bought them for cheap so they can hit up the clubs and pick up hoochies. I wouldnt chance it. $ 30k for a beat to sh*t overpriced nightmare or buy a used V2 with 10k mile son it for $5x thats more reliable and parts are dirt cheap. Your call on that.
