Default Install day tomorrow!!

FINALLY, after letting it collect dust for a while, I'll be putting on my OD crank pulley, 160* thermostat, 60# injectors and then a dyno tune with the new headers. Also will be putting in my Amsoil tranny and diff fluids. There are several cosmetic goodies in the works too and I'll make another thread about that in the next week or so
I love install days

500+ here we come! Man I just installed and am already looking into 8 rib setups, I gotta get rid of my intrawebs! haha

I am excited to see your numbers, I wish E85 was more prevalent down here.

Ohhh didn't even think about belts. My current gatorback will be too short? Only 10% larger on the 1 pulley

Thanks man, me too. I heard that 8 rib accessory pulleys are not being made by IW anymore....I'm not sure who else makes them either.

I will be watching this closely as I will be just behind you other than the E85. Hoping for big #'s.

Mod hell again lol

The gatorback I used originally worked fine. The crank pulley and thermostat went easy, keying the crank was a pain with the new pulley since the key hole sits further back but we got it. Of all things, the injectors gave us hell. Apparently my "shorty" injectors were too short so we had to take off the spacers on the fuel rail to lower it about 1 inch. One of the bolts on the fuel rail was impossible to get off. Ended up getting the fuel rail lowered but needed a fuel connector that we didn't have. Tomorrow it will get finished, fired up then dyno tuned.

Badass, looking forward to numbers. I wont be messing with my car again till spring. Gonna do a plate conversion, fuel pump, timing tuner and bump it to 150 shot. Thatll probably be the extent of mods till i can afford a V2.

Well I'm pretty pissed off. So apparently my last dyno run was a spike that got me to 487. Actually it was 475. After headers, cat delete, larger injectors and 10% od pulley I only hit 498rwhp and 481rwtq. A gain of only 23rwhp and 36rwtq. Is that sounding normal?? My expectations were much higher than that...as were many other peoples

cant you just fudge it to get to 500 rwhp .

I am no expert, but don't some superchargers need the back pressure from non headers and with cats?? Could the numbers be higher with cats put back on or exhaust manifolds? NO PRO HERE ON THIS, just asking. Strong numbers though!

Dammit Deedub. Still only almost! Strap her to a dyno when it's another 20 degrees colder outside.
