Don't mean to thread jack, but LGTB, you mind posting pics of you car in a new thread? I've got a little one on the way, due in June, and need to get something a little more wallet friendly and I have been looking at a few LGT's. I'd like to see one with a few mods cause I know I can't keep it stock lol also, what size tires and what kind of gas milage does it get? I assume insurance isn't to terrible?

I have a FS thread up for my car with mods and ****. Insurance is actaully a LOT lower than most expect because of the AWD and airbags and ****. But I averaged about 22mpg mixed drivng. right now at my new job its all city traffic and when im not driving to work im out enjoying BOOST. as so its only at abotu 18mpg now.

There are more pictures than you can handle in there. And a few videos.

Basically its as quick as a CTS-V is stock. Maybe a little more so because the torque hits so low(2500-3000 for full boost). but lacks the top end of the LS2... i would assume with my mods on a stock turbo I shoul dbe around 260whp.. and with a better protune maybe 270. But easily 300+ftlbs in a 3300-3400lb sedan(yes the non limited 05-06 LGT is actially lighter or just about the same as a STI).

An LGT weighs in at 3300-3400lbs. No way it weighs less or the same as a 2400lbs Mini Cooper.... Just sayin'.

I figured. I always liked those cars, one of the better looking ones in the Suby lineup. If I had the cash, I would rock one as a DD in the winter and save the miles on the V.

Sorry for the thread jack, back to bitchin' about our quirky cars. LOL!

Bitch on. I need to learn. Chances are the car is gone this week or next.

And I totally agree. The ONLY subaru that doesnt look retarded. The STIs are always off looking(short the wagons) and the Foresters while sleeper status with some work are just fugly. And I am going to leave the Baja turbos alone.

But the V is(unelss threads like this scare me away from it) the best upgrade from the LGT I can think of.

JUst an update, the battery took a **** before a year old. As soon as I replaced the battery the key fobs started working. All the gauges work except i cant get the TPMS sensors to show on the display. I tried reprogramming them two different ways and nothing.

Also is the alternator working properly. Might be its not charging the battery correctly.

INterstate, my gf's father owns a repair shop so i got it for free to beginw ith and the new one was free. It would drop to 6V on cranking so it wasnt the alternator.

They would blame it on your short shifter and deny any further warranty claims... LOL
