I forgot to update this, but I drove the car home Wednesday before Thanksgiving and have beem driving it steady since with no issues.
All done it cost me around $420 to fix it and 3-4 solid evenings of work.

Cool. Now I know who to take mine to when it breaks - You're not too far away.![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
Maybe I can get a ride in that Syclone while I'm there! I miss mine...
(except for the constant tune-ups!)
10.8 @ 125 @ 20psi; 1.70 60'. McCoy Motorsports built 4.3. It was capable of 28psi, but I never ran it that hard.

Geez, $420 for all that ain't bad.
What is it about LSx intake valve springs? Same thing happened to ronr at about 60k miles a couple of summers ago on his LS6.
It's not the same, really, but I lost two exhaust springs at the same time on my '69 Vette wa-a-y back in the day. I'm just sayin' ...

Though they did take full responsibility for the problems(crank bearings went twice) and in the end that's all I can ask.(I'm a big believer in **** happening. Always.)

For more aggressive grinds (and a greater expenditure), the Comp 26921, Patriot 8501-BSBC or the PAC 1518 is a better bet. The Comp 26921 and the Patriot 8501 are dual spring setups, while the PAC 1518 is a Beehive single.
With any of the above, a good set of moly pushrods is de rigeur.
