Lol! I'm running the black CS mounts with heat shields. They are said to be the best but I only have about 800 miles on mine.

By far the best mounts for durability will be a fabricated set like mine. There is vendor on here that is supposed to be making some. I have never run the Creative Steel mounts so I won't speak for those guys other than to say I have heard of a few issues but mostly praise is all I hear. I was the first original UUC failure. I didn't stay on the UUC bandwagon and for good reason. Not long after their second generation mount came out they were failing as well.

Custom solid mounts are in my future should I have any issues with mine. Unlikely though. The UUC kept melting from what I remember.

Actually on the UUC's the studs would pull out of the poly. There was no mechanical failsafe or anything built in them. The second gen swapped a regular allen bolt for hex head bolt, still with no failsafe, and those too pulled out of the poly. All they needed was something like a washer or something to keep them from pulling out.

The original Creative Steel mounts are the ones that kept melting. That is why every CS mount that Max sells now comes with a set of heat shields. Supposedly the CS mounts also have a mechanical failsafe so the studs will never pull out, twist, or separate because the poly didn't hold it.

This is the mount I run and is the same style that UMI Performance said they are in the process of making. Not sure what ever happened with them though.

Hmm... Interesting. Glad I got the ones I did then. So far so good! GulfM3 is going to be doing my rear diff bushing and modding my stock shifter soon. I still need to get shifter bushings and a trans mount. I'll have to research em to make sure I get the best ones.

UUC mounts:

black mounts are the gen 1 (garbage)
yellow ones are the gen 2 (not garbage)

I have Gen 2 UUC mounts (yellow) and so far so good through 2 years of beating the **** out of them.

I wasn't happy about having to replace mine twice (once with oem's, once with shitty first gen UUC)....especially on my back in my driveway.

OEM:

This is the only thing holding your engine in.

This is a first generation. Notice the upgraded hardware on the second gen lol

Hmm... I like those solid mounts. I'll be pissed if my CS mounts fail. They better warranty that ****. Lol

Everyone says CS if you are not fabing them.

Do you have dimensions on those; I would like to fab up a dozen or so of those......very nice!

My CS mounts failed with the heat shields. I know two other local guys that have CS mounts fail too. We all went with the UUC and have not had any issues.

SNL will not install the CS mounts because almost every pair they have end up having to be replaced.

UUC is a good way to go.

I'll try and get some. The block is at the machine shop and they are still attached to it.

I have the "black" CS mounts and they haven't failed me in over 15k yet. Although I love the look of Bobby's mount a lot better. Of course some NVH is probably added with those.

Well great! Not what I wanted to hear whistler. I'd like the specs on those solid mounts myself so I can build em and have em ready to replace mine if they go bad. Fml
