Default E-Force Supercharger Kits

New Edelbrock TVS2300 ls2 kit

Some one on the other board said he got it installed on his 05 V, just wondering if this can be installed on the ls2 means it will fit the ls6? Is this another option other than the maggie? Please discuss...

Edit: He has an LS3 in his `05, So I will still need MAST heads to make even this work? Still think its a better option then the maggie mp112 kit...

They make an LS2 version, so I wouldn't think you'd need rectangle-port heads. I'd think the real question would be whether the belt and pulleys fit up, an intake will fit, that kind of stuff.

I'd love to hear more about the guy that used it though. How bolt-on it was for him.

I don't know a lot about blowers, but I wonder if a 2300 is overkill on a stock motor? I wonder if a 1900 is more in its efficiency "sweet spot" for that kind of flow? Still, either seems "better" than a 112, just because they are a newer generation.

like the aother have said, both Vs came with the 243 Casting Heads. so, will technically fit. and looks pretty good (outside of Edelbrock being written all over the top, haha) and a pretty inexpensive 2300. could be worth a shot, but you will 3 main issue to work around:

the strut bar, since the LS6 had low rise bars. in might riquire a new one. not a huge deal, but still something.

getting to fit under the hood. it looks like it will, but it hard to tell from the pictures. so if it doesnt, hello powerdome hood.

and the blower snout. i looked into these as well, and with the snout design it will require a little work for it to fit will most V air intake designs. i.e: the snout on the blower snout turns away from the normal air box location.

Well the whole package fits under the maggie strut tower brace, which is great, when I looked at it I thought it would probably fit under the stock one also.

The Snout does have to be manipulated to get to turn the other way. My installer used my 90mm TB and worked it out. Charlie from RPM who did install said the rest was pretty straight forward. Not sure if the pulleys lined up exactly but he didn't mention it being an issue.

They say it fits under a stock Corvette hood, so I would think it would absolutely fit in the CTS's bay. I'd almost guess the LS2 STB has more clearance than the hood does on the C6.

I will call them Monday and see about pulley alignment for our cars. Then call connect injection to get a pulley made if needed...

I want to see pics too. Still debating between turbos and a tvs 2300 size supercharger. I like how integrated the e force kit is.

Well there is a GTO at RPM that got an Eforce blower, the GTO guy said he had to forge the bottom end at least to sustain the added boost.

It was that or run less boost which would make it a 112 with a little less heat soak, which would be a waist of time...

What kind of boost does a 2300 add to a ls6? It has to be measurably more than it adds to a ls3, as the displacement is a lot smaller...

My goal in going with a TVS 1900 or preferably a 2300 is a blower that will grow as my engine does. An mp112 will be of no use once I decide to bigger with my ls2. I plan to add lower compression heads this summer with a blower cam, so i should be able to up my boost, then eventual forged bottom with a 402 or 408. mp112 or 122 probably won't cut it.

Your right there, my mp112 ran out of air big time with the 414

A little info.
Its my understanding that the MP 112 designated with those numbers
-because it is 112 = 112 cubic inches.
Therefore the 122 = 122 cubic inches.

Lets do the math:
1 Liter = 61.387ml
1 cubic inch = 16.387ci

Knowing this . . the results are:
MP 112 = 1.8L or 1.83535
MP 122 = 2.0L or 1.99922

The 1.9 = 116ci or 115.945ci
The 2.3 = 140ci or 140.354ci

The MP 112 is not recommended for engines over 6.0L or 364ci
And we all should know by now that the 112 & 122 Gen 5; 3 lobe, 60*twist.
And the 1.9L & 2.3L are Gen 6; 4 lobe, 160* twist.

New technology is usually better,
but the old is not obsolete.

Well I havent got car back yet. I guess Eldebrock is reworking the snout and pulley arrangement again for a better OEM look...

I am hearing there will be part numbers following this initial R&D with RPM.

I can tell you its taking forever, but I guess that is what I should expect for a prototype.

Aleast there should be a working bolton kit now. Magnuson did not want to offer a kit so I am glad Edelbrock is.
