After I installed my DSS/Hendrix axles, I had to try them out and actually did a couple of clutch dumps. From a stop in 1st gear, I put the revs at 3k RPM, dumped the clutch, and mashed the throttle. Got no WH, but the motor, instead of bogging, went the other way and bounced off the rev limiter while the tires just screamed. Afterward, I noticed no deterioration in my diff.

2500+tune for about 40rwhp/15rwtq just isnt gonna cut it. Ive thought about it but it just isnt gonna make me happy. Sounds like a 112 isnt either. Oh well, isnt it hard to have a little money to play with and not know how to spend it lol. Or its still not enough to do what you want.
The ported heads shouldn't be over a grand. I'm going with Landspeed's stage 2 and should be adding around 30-40rwhp for $800. With the heads and Fast you should easily pick up a good 50rwhp.

Check out TEA and AI which is who id have port them, they have shown amazing results but the prices show. 1200 is the least they charge the stage 3s they told me they suggested were like 1600 bucks i think but they include valve springs.

Are you still on your stock '05 differential? And how many miles on it?

Any reason why you wouldn't try someone 400 bucks cheaper for the same results. He worked on the C5 & C6R and CTS-V/R ALMS cars. Why would they have you pay for valve springs when the sodium filled ones you already have are great?

VALVE SPRINGS......not VALVES. The valves are sodium filled not the springs.

Ive never heard of them and AI or TEA have a great Rep. trying to save a few bucks sometimes kicks you in the *** and taking a shot in the dark isnt something i like to do personally.

Ya guess i wasn't paying attention to the springs part. How is it a shot in the dark? They have a great rep, just cuz you haven't heard of them doesn't mean they aren't known. And it really goes both ways with that too, why pay more money for the same results?

I hear ya, i have done research and if you look on here you see nothing but good about TEA or AI, i did a search on here for landspeed heads and other then this post there are 9 other posts with that in them. It takes a while to build a good rp and the companies i mentioned are top of the line. I dont doubt landspeeds work but fact is, if im gonna spend over 1k its gonna be with someone i feel comfortable with and who i can count on giving me a good product. We can agree to disagree. Im not doing heads anyways i am so up in the air who knows.

Nah, in late spring of '06 I heard a very slight whine so went to the dealer and whined. Presto: new diff.

Literally one week before I put the maggie on I took it into the dealer due to a slight diff whine and got another diff (3rd Gen if you're counting four total). That was June '07 with 36k on the clock. Got 53k on now with zero issues. Got the axles on in August '09 and now have zero wheelhop even with brutal clutch dumps. Diff is doing just fine.

Default TCP1 pricing on Maggie

Retail Pricing on Satin Magnachargers 112 for the V is $6610.00 plus Shipping.

We can do that installed or $5790.00 plus shipping.

Also because so many have asked I am talking to my guy there about the 122. I know to use this a after market hood would be necessary. As soon as I find out more I will let you all know.

No matter what if you have not already installed after market axles, Girdle, Anti-hop Bar, and bushings I would before you do this.

Sounds like this car is staying stock(or very close to it) for the next owner.

Copied and sent to my Sales Agent. When you said you could get it a lot cheaper are you refering to a Remanf? I want to make sure I am getting a good price from my Sales person.

Thanks

I really dont think the vendor is selling the remans for that price because hes having the kits built direct from maggie and remans are hard to come by from what ive heard. Ill PM you.

Any news on the 122 or a possible TVS 1900 option? They make the TVS 1900 for the GTO with cathedral heads.
