Default Looking at a V

Hey guys, I am looking at an '06 CTS-V in Light Platinum Metallic with 72K miles and I have a few questions. The dealer has it listed for $17.9K is this a good price? Are there any issues I need to look for when checking the car out? I'll be trading my '06 SER for it and it has been pretty problem-free, I just want to make sure I'm not buying something I'm going to have to spend a ton of money fixing. Thanks!

fairly high mileage for an 06 if you ask me. I would look for the usual, get a report of any warranty work done on the car. Check for diff. replacement and when, engine shudder on shut down(needs engine mounts), peeling buttons on the radio.

That sounds like a good price. Have them pull the warranty history on it. Maybe get a warranty on it.

That's a heck of a price. Makes me kinda wonder, actually.

Do all the normal checking and take it for a ride.

If all's good and you drove away at $17k, I'd say you did well ... very well.

I agree with rand49er totally. If it drives good and is clean, buy it.

Good deal if it isn't a re-build. I would have paid $17k-ish for it a month ago when I got my 04. 92k miles for $15k
