i would call JEGS and Summit and get the price and availability then go from there...just from previous experience with my other vehicles..the mini starters are awesome..very light , compact, easy to install, and much better quality...good luck

My concern with the mini-starters is that are they up to the task of everyday use? All weather - hot, cold, rain? My guess is that they are great for the weekend warrior who is concerned with weight.

You mean kinda like how many aftermarket clutches are great for the drag strip but poor for daily driving?

That was part of my concern with 'em too. I think I'll just go with the lifetime warranty OEM replacement from Rockauto or Autozone or O'Riley's or whoever. It's great living in a (Canadian) border city. Those starters are $250 + here, but just a 10 minute drive away in Michigan they're nearly half that.
