Op you could always get a v1 with with v2 power. There is a forum member on here, onebadcad, if his car is still for sale. It is one of the finest examples of a v1 you will ever find. It's listed in the classifieds probably a few months back.

Should be easier than this.
You do realize thunder grey was only available in 2007 and is the rarest color V! you could buy. IIRC only 700 were made so good luck finding one.

Records show between 1100-1200 Vs were made in 2007. I bet the amount that were Thunder Grey is in the low hundreds.

I used to have a link to a website that you could type in your vehicle info and it would tell you how many other vehicles were like yours...my search powers seem to be sucking right now though.

My car sells on the 22nd. If things work out. Ill have to get that car inspected up theer before fly/train up there. Then drive it back, mind you its winter and its just a little farther up north. It would hae to be ready to buy with recent oil changed and fresh tires on it. But yeah i LOVE the look of that car. Add teh Cowl hood and the little lip spoiler on the trunk... Maybe lower it. Then headers cam and heac work with a tune. DONE.... God I have a problem!

Sorry if this is really noobish.

Is the motor in the V2 forged? What have people taken it to without popping the motor? I know tune along with a ton of other things affect it but just looking for what some have gotten.

Widest tire you can get on this on a 15" rim?

Not sure what you mean, a 15" wheel will not fit. The rotors are over 14" alone. Not to mention the Brembo four piston calipers. There are a handfull of 18" wheels that will clear the calipers including the C5Z wheels.

Some have put 305s on the stock wheel and others have installed 325s with wide aftermarket wheels.

For the strip most guys buy the Z06 wheels and mount a 305 MT DR.

It's interesting to track the prices, but it would be better if the dates were also listed next to the price. Also might be worth noting if it is a sale price or an asking price.

I tried doing that for a while, and ran out of steam. If anyone wants to pick it back up I can create a form to enter the data.
