That is about the limit with the MP112 isn't it? Is there a direct bolt on upgrade to the MP112 that will use the same hardware like a Procharger P1 to D1 swap?

GTO's use them frequently and is where I gather most of my information from as few have the 122 on a V. (LS1GTO.com is a good source of information).

BTW its nice to here you also got into a blower! I remember seeing more than a few threads when the Maggies were on the block that you posted in...

Also you say street tuning, you working with HP tuners or EFI Live? HP Tuners here and its always nice to have another brain to pick/ bounce things off of.

REMO: my current mods are in my sig, and i will be getting some headers real soon and i have a meth kit i can install. is there real gain to be had with the meth? i know how it all works with lowering iat;s and therefore you can up boost and advance timing. but thats more on turbo or centrifugals. i had one on my 87 gn and i went from 17psi to 22psi with no knock. but with a roots type blower you cant cool the air between the blower and the throtle body. so just curious if its worth installing or should i sell it to help pay for the headers? also i was thinking of running a 2.6'' upper instead of buying a new pulley and balancer$$$. theres a company called reichard racing that makes these ultra grip drilled pulleys. read alot about them on the ford forums and seems to be legit.im trying to get around the 500rwhp stage as well. anyhow just curious, not trying to hijack the thread.

Im using the meth for safety. For me to get 500 hp was really hard. Im pushing the 112 past where it was intended to be run. I run the meth kit around 1/3 of what it can do. I did pick up 20-25 TQ with the meth kit. I ran 169.7 at the Texas Mile with this setup so its safe in my eyes.

The Eaton M122 is the factory stock unit on the s/c Shelbys. Would this fit as an MP112 replacement or did Magnuson alter the head unit? I would think a ported 122 would be a serious power jump over the 112.

The 122 for the Ford's are a lot different. They have an intake tract built in to them and they are made to run from the snout, not the jack shaft like what we have. I'm sure with a little ingenuity it could be done but personally I would just try to find a GTO 122 that someone is selling. Swap the head unit and sell a 112 kit.

Thanks Raven. I figured as much. Too bad as the Ford guys are selling basically new takeoffs for $500.00. The GTO guys are going to want to sell their whole system so probably not many head unts for sale. Worth a try though.

GTO's are seeing around 100 rwhp just swapping head units from 112 to 122HH...
