Bought my first V.
I just bought my first V. It's an 04 Mallett. I drove it back from Atlanta last night (5 1/2 hours)and it was great. It seems to be a great car and gets tone of looks. I had people stop me on a couple occasions to ask me about it. It's got a couple small issues that I need to work on. It has a something loose or a mount broken underneath that hits the bottom if the car when you go over bumps. E-brake doesn't work very well, c-pilar panel is loose were someone ran an antenna wire and the dome light cover comes off.
The car drives great and has good power. The previous owner had tons of receipts and dyno sheets with it. It made 377hp and 337tq. I may try to add some long tubes to try and get to 400. So far, I love it.

Welcome and congrats on the V. I thought Mallett cars had MUCH more power than that. Got any pics? Can't believe it doesn't have long tubes already. You sure it is a Mallett?

Yea, it's the one that was on eBay. I think it has the basic Mallett package; h/c, corsa, lowered, "19 wheels, anti-wheel hop kit. I talked to Mallett, they are going to get the specs on everything for me. I will post some pics as soon as I can. I'm away from the computer and using my phone.
