Thanks. I didn't like the way the stock tires looked with the Eibach so I dropped the profile. I run 245/40 18 front and 275/35 18 rear.

you'll never go back ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
in fact, i think there are more kits available now than there were when i bought the k-sports 2 years ago. OP, here's a quick shot i just snapped outside so you can have an idea how coil-overs can sit flush:

there's still plenty of room to play with both front and rear

Absolutely true I just got ksports a few weeks ago and love them. I use to have the eibach prokit they where nice but the lower the car is the sexier it looks even on stockers witch is what I have, I look at the pics of my car with the prokit and the car looks 4x4. if you have a little more cash to throw on the ksports don't bother with anything else

IMO avoid Ksports. Just my opinion. I dont trust them. But its a bs opinion based on hearsay. I have used Tien products in all of my modded cars except my first honda which was on Koni's full coilovers.
Given those choices id get the KWs.

Eibach doesn't produce the V springs anymore, so you'll have to find a used set (which aren't easy to come by), and be quick on the trigger to beat out the others that are looking at them too.
H&R had also stopped production for their V springs, but a few months ago I called them directly and found out that they were back in production and being shipped out shortly thereafter. The H&R rep pointed me towards tirerack.com for a good price and so on; so that's where I went. They're currently sitting in my garage waiting for some nice weather when I'll install them. I also got a set of MM spacers and Z06 end links from the classifieds here. You'll want those end links too. You'll likely have lots of people tell you they're running fine with OEM links, but you'll have more people tell you about how they've snapped the OEM ones like twigs (often more than once).
As for how low each manufacturer's springs will get you, there seems to be some pretty significant discrepancies from forum memebrs. I can't rememeber if the thread is here or over at the other forum, but there's one thread in particular that user A and B had H&R's and both users measured fender height from the ground and got different measurements. Same for Eibach's. What was really interesting to me (and sold me on the H&R's) was that the member who had recently purchased H&R's actually measured to be a bit lower than the member with the Eibachs. This is contrary to the common belief that Eibach's lowered you more, and also contrary to H&R's claims in their product descriptions. Interesting thread to read if you can find it though. Either way, you'll be happy. And if you've got the $$ for it, just do the coilovers.

i got my k-sports for 875 shipped. KWs go for around $2,000. both offer damper and ride height adjustment. i'm not exactly sure why such a significant price difference, but KWs were initially the only brand to offer a complete coil-over solution so maybe that's why.
don't go for the ground controls if you're looking for coilovers. i just don't see it worth my while or money when you can just spend a little more for a night and day difference with a full complete coil-over. GCs are a spring with a nut & sleeve, that's it.
i also have stock end links.

damn tony...right click, save! very nice brotha!
thats actually prety cheap for coilovers. like i said, coilovers will be in the works for my V very soon. i got my GC pretty cheap from another member on the cadillac forums. no complaints, but like tony said, if your gonna buy GC brand new, save a bit more and get the K-sports

lol, thanks fern. i snapped it with my phone earlier. it's not much but it's from today so it's recent.
i've seen pricing as low as $699 for what i believe were mobens and around the same or less for D2s.

damn, thats really cheap...i dont think i have seen anybody with the D2's yet. i rather get something that someone has experienced. like k-sports for example. you have said nothing but good things about them. when you hear bad reviews, makes me real iffy
