Sweet lord. Now GM has just lost their mind.... and in a good way.

it weighs 200lbs more then the coupe.... all the weight must help keep those rears planted.

Zero to 60 miles per hour in this car goes by in 4.3 seconds—such acceleration momentarily takes years off your sagging jowls—and then the car really starts to move, thundering through the quarter-mile in 11.9 seconds at 116 mph, according to my colleagues at Car and Driver, who do impeccable instrumented testing

I don't see where they slam it at all. The guy points out, but also revels in, the ridiculousness of a 556 hp station wagon. And I tend to agree. It's awesome that such a car exists, but what would you possibly buy one for?

It's like having an AMG wagon or Magnum SRT8 I guess. I want the V2 Coupe!

It's not really all that good at anything, they are not super big inside. It's not like the old Roadmaster wagon where you can fit a 4'x8' in it. Nor would you want to put anything dirty in there, as the car is too nice. Mostly it wouldn't do anything the sedan can't with the seats down.
The main thing it does is blow people's minds when you act like a hooligan in a wagon. That's a lot of coin to drop just for how it affects others, though.
The SRT-8 Magnum is an easier sell because it wasn't nearly as expensive. Nor are they that nice to where I'd care about loading it up with stuff. Tossing bags of mulch in the back, for example.

I am patiently waiting the 36-48 monthes for these....
to start coming off lease and out of warranty.
I WILL OWN ONE.... Just not in the near future...
I can swing 25k or so but can't justify any more jiing for it!
waiting.....
This post will be like opening a time capsule for me... hahaha

I got to drive both the wagon and the coupe at Barret Jackson when it came to AZ a few weeks ago and they both are crazy fast, but the wagon handles soooo much better around the corners than the coupe. cant wait to get into a v2, any kind of v2 lol
