New CTS-V Owner - 2006

I confess, I feel the same way. I love my car, don't mistake me, but I keep thinking of how much more fun a V2 would be. Plus it has much fewer ergonomic quirks. But I only bought my car 6 months ago, it would seem crazy to change so quickly...

Here are the pics of the updated ****/boot.
**** that was on the car/factory boot:
After, suede V2 ****, suede boot. Colors aren't perfect, but pretty dang close. The factory ***** I've seen seem to be darker than the factory boot anyway:

Love it.
How much did you get the suede V2 **** for?

I really don't see much reason to mod the daily much either. Blower is one thing, but I'm not up to sacrifice drivability.

Haha, I don't need 2 high HP headaches! My hope is the bike and the Viper will satisfy the speed addiction, and the V will be the nice quiet car to downtown in or take road trips. Fingers crossed that is how it works, lol.

Nice ride! I just bought an 06 red/cashmere with 3,800 miles in November. Completely and totally bone stock, owner did not know he had XM radio, if you can believe that! Unfortunately the previous owner decided to start using a Mobil car wash (in NY City, nonetheless) about 6 months before selling. So I have a brand new car with swirl marks even in the tail lights! It's nice coming in this and the other Cadillac forum and being able to look at the research the others have conducted for the last 7 years. We owe a debt of gratitude on that end. My plan is new UUC shifter, CAGS eliminator, set of new rear axles and then just go right for the Maggie. Most bang for the buck there. Good luck and hope to see your postings as your V just gets better.
Picked this up toward the end of last month, bone stock besides a Corsa and Shifter, 40k. It will just be my DD, but I have a couple of plans for it.
The day after I got it home:
After the Forgelines went on:
Current plans include ditching the pinstripe, powder coat the grille's, either black out or clear the front signals, and I have a V2 suede shift **** and a suede boot coming from Redline Goods. After the Viper is finished and after TX2K11 it will more than likely get a TVS1900, or I may get a V2 altogether. We'll just see.
