Default New CTS-V Owner - 2006

Picked this up toward the end of last month, bone stock besides a Corsa and Shifter, 40k. It will just be my DD, but I have a couple of plans for it.

The day after I got it home:

After the Forgelines went on:

Current plans include ditching the pinstripe, powder coat the grille's, either black out or clear the front signals, and I have a V2 suede shift **** and a suede boot coming from Redline Goods. After the Viper is finished and after TX2K11 it will more than likely get a TVS1900, or I may get a V2 altogether. We'll just see.

I noticed it is missing the GM tags on the fenders.
Love the wheels.
Keep the pin stripe. Hardly anyone has one.

Thought the GM tags were just on 07s. I think they look like crap anyways.

It started in '06. My car had them as well, but I think they are hideous and removed them. Maybe I'll surprise some LS6 V when my truck motor pulls them from 0-10...

Also, to the OP, car looks nice!

Thanks guys. CTS and GM chicklets are gone. I got the suede boot and shift **** in earlier this evening, I'll get pics up in the a.m. It will be dropped a hair, probably mod the stock springs and MM's relocate kit. I'd like to keep the ride quality. I've really been considering a V2 today, but I really should wait a few months. Time will tell, this thing is definitely getting a blower or replacement. Either way, LED tails and a drop are in the near future!
