Catch can on LS2/6 V?
Anyone install a catch can on their V1? I have this one:

on my LT5, but am planning on removing it as I am considering selling the car. I figured it should work on the LS2 just fine, though possibly mounting it will be more difficult due to the crap in the way? There seems to be some wires and stuff that isn't there on the LS2 'vette. Anyone mounted one in their car, either this one or a different one?

I don't see why not. The early LS6's had oil consumption problems during extended high rpm events and installing a catch can helped fix that.
I think GM eventually changed some baffling in the valve covers to really help but it certainly can't hurt.

I have an AMW

I'll probably hook up a second one after the blower install

I have an AMW also. I made a small bracket to attach it to the belt tensioner bolt so it sits lower in the engine bay.

Thanks for those pictures, I guess there is room there!
I know on my LT5, the plenum would fill up with a surprising amount of oil. And you could see when datalogging that the first run at the 1/4 mile track would have significant knock retard (like 5 degrees). The next run would have less, and by the third run there was none. I'm fairly certain that was due to the pooled oil being ingested.
Since I have the can anyway, it seems like a no-brainer to try it on the LS2. Maybe it will help the inconsistency the car seems to have. Sometimes it feels a fair bit stronger than other times. Oil lowers the effective octane rating of the fuel/air charge, so it can cause knock retard.
