Default MP 122HH Dyno Results Inside

Well I finally made the 2 hour journey to hit up the dyno before our nasty GA heat gets here. I am quite happy with the results and actually could have squeaked out a bit more if the dyno hadn't screwed up after my cool down period. (I had waited with the fan on for 10 minutes after this run but then the dyno messed up on the two runs after so I was heat soaked again when he got it fixed). No biggie, I have enough power to make things go boom anyhow!

The chart: (Started with 18* of timing but ended with 16.5* due to IAT's and also averaged 8 pounds of boost over the run)

Great numbers...............but does it really portray an accurate rating if " had waited with the fan on for 10 minutes after this run but then the dyno messed up on the two runs after so I was heat soaked again when he got it fixed)."

How much of a decrease did you see with heat soak?

This WAS the second heat soaked run. I said I could have gotten more after the fan had been blowing cooling things off for the 3rd run (after 10 minute break) but his dyno messed up so again I had timing pulled throughout. Either way by the end of the run (dyno or highway) timing is getting pulled....

That make sense or only in my head? In other words THIS run was representative of taking off from a heat soaked car.

Oh and BTW no heat soak (Read timing being pulled) happened until 4779 RPM anyways so its not like the difference is huge with a loss of 1.5* the rest of the way to redline.

Haha yeah she does alright! BTW you got me thinking now that I might add some meth (very little while in boost only) to not be able to raise my timing advance but merely keep what I have commanded....

The part I hate about meth is that you have to refill it. But if I only use a bit of it maybe I could live with refills every couple months or so.

My brother runs it on his GN, hes able to get 27-28lbs of boost on pump gas with meth. His alkycontrol kit uses a replacement windsjield washer fluid container so maybe a gallon or so. He doesnt fill it very often at all, you can even get like 5 gallon tanks that you could run in the spare tire well that you would fill maybe twice a year. Meth is THE ****!

they dont make a 122 anymore. what you can do it get a 112, and find a 122 housing and screws and mount it to the 112 base.

Sort of. There a couple other little things you need to fug with but it isn't bad. A company called Mechtech are the ones who originally bolted the 122 on the 112 base. If you want specifics I would give them a buzz.

Hmm appears as if their site is down, not sure if thats permanent though.

Think he got it from another member for $2500.00? I could be wrong but if not then that is one hell of a way to spend $2500.00!!!
