Default 408 cts-v... sell as is?

car is an '05, 408 stroker done right... the cars making 500 RWHP and is an absolute beast.... i need to sell the car but am debating on having the motor pulled first and putting a stock motor back in prior to seling as i know i will not get the money i have into the motor back..
car is perfect and only has about 28k miles. always garaged, rarely driven.. motor swap was done at 20k miles.

any input...
if as is, how much?
i see stockers like mine asking 25k

Sounds great! What's your exhaust setup?

I would guess you'd get ~$27k as is or ~$22k without... But that's just my first thought. You just have to weigh the cost of a swap and the reduced price against what you can sell the motor for, or it's value to you for your next project.

Sweet car, I'd love to know what it takes to build a motor like that.

B & b headers, corsa exhaust, no cats...

About 15k or so into the motor, a friend of mine built the motor

Lol, gotta love big cubes and high compression. We have identical settups but mine sounds nothing like that!

That thing is sweet! Will you trade for my 04 V w/ 21K miles?
I was crusing in hollywood a few weeks ago and nearly hit Justin Bieber. No joke! As a result, his arm kinda half-assed touched the hood. Anyways, Im pretty sure that adds some value.

Based on what I've seen you'll get $25k easy with the car stock. I was recently in Phoenix looking for an 05 and every one I called on with less than 40,000 miles was already gone for near that price. The low mileage cars definitely still bring good money. I'd swap back if you still have the original stocker to put in it.
