I can't believe I've *STILL* not installed my amplifier. Way to much **** going on. I want to do it soon. It's mounted on a board, just need to get in there & WIRE IT UP & mount the board in the trunk.

Rolled 100k over the weekend. Missed the photo op because I was hauling *** on Beltway 8 to catch dinner with my Mom.

Getting fed up with the jackassery on the road of someone doing 5 over in the fast lane giving them justification to just sit there. Left lane is for passing only!

It happens every time I get near Huntsville on 45. The higher population, the more people that just use 45 to get around & no thinking of it like a highway. They'll get in the left lane not caring whatever else is on the road. Had some **** brake check me after he changed lanes in front of me & as I was slowing down got too close to his precious POS cavalier. Then when he finally decides to move over, gets about halfway over as I'm passing then tries to come back over. Our mirrors almost touched. That's when I wish I had some Death Race 2000 spinner drill bits on my wheels.

It's moments like those when I'm glad I'm not carrying.

My S&W M&P .45c was in the car riding shotgun. Never leave home without it.

Now, if there's someone I do want to shoot, it's the weatherman. I checked before leaving the house to get my oil changed & car washed/waxed:

This is ¼ mile from the car wash:

Behind the license plate panel, behind the actual license plate, on the actual license plate (tiny pieces), behind the trunk decklid carpeting, and on the rear deck. Works great! Trunk doesn't rattle at all now, hell not even the license plate rattles! Just the plastic on the rear deck does. Not sure how I'm going to get to it.

4 sq/ft is not a lot either. I didn't lay it down in giant panels. I cut it in strips & applied it judiciously to spot that needed dampening. The remaining 4 sq/ft will be going underneath the back seat. Maybe dampen the exhaust some.

I ended up buying another amp thinking the one I had didn't work, not realizing my buddy didn't put two fuses in the fuse tap! So, I'm thinking I'll just keep both & wire up the Infiniti Kappas in the door (left by the previous owner) . . . maybe. My ears are already ringing.

I didn't take any pics of the bluetooth module . . . yet.

I just added a pic of the reverse lights. They're the cheapie LEDs, but seeing how they'll work. They look REALLY bright, but are the one's that don't really throw light. I finally put a frame/cover on the plate too. Looks good IMO, if not ricey because of the fact it came from Autozone. It's a clear lense over the plate, but looks clean.

I gotta get in there & tweak the rear panel, you can see there is a gap now (light peeking thru) there at the bottom I didn't notice until later.

Hey, it got me a new hood, trunk, and paint that I probably wouldn't have done by now.

Escort Live bluetooth module: I'm realizing that I probably don't need physical access to it after driving with it for a few days now. If it falls off (which I suspect it will, it's just stuck with some 3M double sided & it took 3 different pieces before it finally stuck), I'll probably stow it behind the ashtray or something. I thought the mute/report button would be used, but it can all be done via the app on your phone. Although, seeing the light go from green to blue lets me know it's connected to the phone, but again, I can see that state from the app.

This is where the STi-R+ controls & display (above mirror) are.

Pix of the dynamat & dirty car. Again, the goal was not deadening, but killing the vibration, so it's not completely coated. Not pictured is the large swatch underneath the backseat, but you've all seen that:

Probably would, but I actually use my trunk toting band equipment. Even went camping in my car (to a campsite that my band was playing)! That was an adventure driving down a dark muddy road.

The backseat & entire trunk were full of gear & equipment. That's probably where I found some rubbed spots on my leather back there!

Shortly after that picture, this happened:

new hood

new trunk decklid
new right front fender
new unibody side panel (rear quarter to a pillar)

Minor PDR on the driver side with a few dents. There are a few dents on the driver side roof rail/rear quarter/front fender. I kinda hope they replace the left front fender so they have to repaint the driver side. There's a couple of very minor scuffs/scratches on that side I'd like to see disappear.

Hate to make things worse but this repair
"new unibody side panel (rear quarter to a pillar)"

Is considered frame damage and most dealers will hit you fairly hard because of this. A lot of dealers don't retail a car with a rehung quarter do to NAAA standards that frame has to be announced when being sold at auction.

I would try to go after reduced value due to frame damage. Oops, didn't realize this happened so long ago..I guess it is good to know for next time.

I wouldn't worry about it for this car because of your miles...but if this thing had super low miles it would definitely hurt the value.

Just looking out for you to get the money you deserve.

It's a real travesty when some hits you and frames damages your car and insurance companies don't compensate you for it.

It's a dirty little secret insurance companies don't want you to know about and you don't realize it until a guy like me appraises your car at a dealership and gives you a few grand less because of it.

FRCs *FINALLY* installed. About 35 mins of cut, fit, rinse, repeat. I did probably cut more than I needed to for the power steering reservoir. I was trying to fit that side way too high & I had made two cuts before I realized it. Tomorrow I'll go clean up the cuts.

Cleaning the K&N too. Man, it did NOT want to come off. Drying now. Oil tomorrow.

Yes, I know my bay is dirty . . .
