505/491 is still barely touching the 120mph mark in the 1/4. Thats not FAST to me. Im sure it rolls out but throw that in an fbdy and your talking high 120s.

Ill be making 425 in my 93 mustang coupe and im hoping for mid 120s off the bottle. TOO much *** in the V to make it fast without gobs of power.

To me, there's more to life than straight lines, at least for the V. It was built to be a civilized road/track car with adequate power. On the other hand............

The '67 F-body in my sig is nearing completion. It's motor is nearly identical (stronger valve train & more cam) but it's 1000 lbs lighter. We'll see......
