For those of you with 430+rwhp . . .
What did you do to get there, and what is your mileage like.
Yes yes, I know that MPG and V8's don't generally go hand in hand, but I like the fact that my 400hp V8 gets better mileage than some of the performance 4 and 6 cylinders out there.
If I end up keeping/building the car, would be good to know whether or not I can get to 430+rwhp and maintain some decent mileage.
I manage to take my Stang from 360rwhp to 500rwhp and increase the mileage (outside of boost anyways) via lowering the compression and upping the boost. I don't mind taking a little MPG hit, but would be nice to keep it where it is.
If you're near the 430rwhp or above, or have experience with these cars and those power levels, chime in. I guess anyone is welcome to chime in hehe, but would be good to have the thoughts of people who have been there/done that.

Maggie is a good way to get there and retain or have better milage. I can't tell you that I have better milage because I drive like an *** lol but I have heard of it happening. Plus
The maggie will give you plenty of low end. Generally over 400ft lbs at around 3k or better with the right setup.

My rebuild is pretty much stock specs but adding a 102mm maf and intake. With a new tune I should go from 420 to 430. If for some reason it's not, because of this thread I will make them get 430 out of my V.
The block of the new LS2 is at the machine shop...should have all the new parts in and block assembled by the end of May.
Rocking the Raptor while the V is down...
