I really should have talked to those guys more when I saw them at Sebring.
Not sure if it was the same drivers, but the cars were there the year before last, that I remember.
I definitely took a few pics of the Caddy's. Don't know where they are at the moment though. Awesome cars!

I imagine you're correct about the Mustang's wing - it's almost certainly the biggest wing possible in accordance with the rules. Much like the CTS-V's wing is almost certainly the biggest wing possible. lmao

Yeah, when you do Grand Am, Gran Touring, and those types of racing, you don't just race with your own class grouping, they throw ALL classes out there on the track at once. That's why you see some cars that are slower/faster.
I'm sure if the LMP cars were on the track, you'd see them blowing by the CTS's no problemo.
I'd like to see how they do against the the corvette teams. Corvette runs a car in two different series.
If you've ever watched the Le Mans series, and wondered why they have different colored headlights, it's so during night racing, when you see the color of another class of car coming up on your ***, you know to get the hell out of their way!

When I replaced the front end of my Miata with a Racing Beat one, it was a night and day difference.
Stock nose, it felt as if the car was going to flip end over end. Add a few holes and a lip, and it's glued to the ground.

Are you laughing because you don't understand how race classing works? The CTS-V should blow by that Mustang - they race in completely different classes. The GT cars were 6-7sec per lap faster than the GTS cars at Mosport.
